Senior Network Administrator - (Nicosia)

within our IT and Communications department, based in Nicosia.The successful candidate will be a dedicated team player

to assist in the network infrastructure management of the bank and be able to demonstrate confidence and the

ability to work in a competitive and continuously growing environment.Reporting will be directly to the Group Head of the Division.

Competencies required for this key role include:

     • University Degree in Computing/Computer Engineering preferably specialized in Networking

     • CCNP Certification and above with proven experience of implementation and operation of CISCO

       security and networking products

     • Hands-on experience setting up VLANs, upgrading and troubleshooting Switches, setting up DMZs,  

       configuring Routers and administering IP Telephony systems

     • Hands-on experience of Network Documentation and Management, IT Operations and Technical Support

     • Hands-on experience in implementation and operation of security tools such as Firewalls,

       Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Anti-Virus, Content Filtering, url filtering and Authentication solutions

     • Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills, backed by experience of working within a client

       driven high availability enterprise, with exposure and skills around troubleshooting Windows & UNIX systems

     • Good understanding of routing concepts such as RIP, OSPF, BGP and Enhanced IGERP

     • Ability to harden Windows & Unix operating systems for specific needs

     • Demonstrated experience leading and coaching multi-functional teams

     • Proven ability to write reports in English

     • Ability to travel
