Gold Cards
Gold Card is our premium brand card. It is available in either MasterCard® Gold or Visa™ Gold versions. Both are secured deferred payment charge cards with a controlled monthly spending limit of USD 5,000 minimum.
The Gold Cards provide:
- Free Travel Insurance Coverage for you and your immediate family travelling with you when you use your FBMECS Gold Card to pay for overseas travel.
- The insurance policy covers death, disablement and medical assistance. The amount of compensation is up to a maximum of US$200,000.
- Free accidental insurance for the cardholder and immediate family.
- Referral service to medical specialists.
- Emergency dispatch of a specialist and/or medicines.
- Evacuation and repatriation service.
- Free travel information service- questions about passports, visas, vaccinations, including free worldwide and online reservations, associate membership to exclusive private clubs and golfing benefits.
Additionally:
- Executive Club International (ECI) Standard Membership. ECI is an exclusive affinity club providing benefits and services for frequent flyers.
- Hotel Reservation Discounts and VIP Services — members receive guaranteed discounts of up to 50% at more than 5,000 hotels worldwide. In addition, in many hotels members receive a free upgrade.
- Car Rental Discounts — members can benefit from savings of up to 30% at Avis, Hertz, and Europcar/Interrent.
- Luggage Identification and Retrieval Service — should your luggage be lost, one call to ECI will initiate a worldwide search.
